Kay Goss (BA ’63, MA ’66)

Kay GossLecturer, author and public servant Kay Goss’ expertise in emergency management, risk communication and general resiliency have made her a highly respected authority throughout the world. After earning a BA and MA in political science, she served as senior assistant for intergovernmental relations for Governor Bill Clinton and was the first woman to hold the position of assistant director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency in charge of national preparedness, training and exercises.
