Writing Requirement

All mathematics majors must satisfy the writing requirement by writing a paper based on the student’s research of a mathematical topic under the direction of a faculty member, typically carried out in MATH 4933.

An honors paper or senior thesis will satisfy this requirement. The student should consult his or her adviser for details.
