Masha Gessen Lecture: "What Vladimir Putin Can Teach Us About Donald Trump"
Masha Gessen will give a lecture entitled “What Vladimir Putin Can Teach Us About Donald Trump” in Giffels Auditorium at 6 p.m.
Gessen is a Russian-American writer, journalist, and activist. She has written extensively
about the feminist punk group Pussy Riot and Vladimir Putin. She is the author of
numerous books including Perfect Rigor, Blood Matters, and Ester and Ruzya. Her work
has appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, and Harper’s Magazine, among
others.
Gessen’s books The Man Without a Face and Words Will Break Cement will be available
for purchase and signing after her lecture.
