Private support provides necessary funding to ensure academic excellence and measured growth; gifts large and small are important to Fulbright College. There are three avenues for philanthropy at the University of Arkansas: student support, faculty support, and program support. You can make outright gifts to Fulbright College or to a particular department in the form of cash, securities, corporate matching gifts, real estate and personal property. Let our development professionals help you realize your goals.
The cost of a higher education has been on the rise nationwide since the mid-1980s. Students who are working long hours while attending college deserve merit-based aid to help them finish their degrees and enter the job market.
Let’s keep our Fulbright College classrooms filled with deserving students. Access Arkansas is a three-year, focused effort to create need-based scholarship endowments for University of Arkansas-Fayetteville students who could not otherwise afford to attend. Through Access Arkansas, each $50,000 privately funded endowment can generate between $2,000 and $2,250 each year. That money will be disbursed to as many financially strapped students as possible. Some might need only $500 for books; some might need the entire disbursement. But one thing is certain. The need-based scholarships offered through the Access Arkansas program will narrow the funding gap many students face.
