King Fahd Center for Middle East and Islamic Studies Four-Year and Two-Year Undergraduate Scholarships

Renewable. Support for superior students interested in pursuing the study of the Middle East or Islam.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a Middle East Studies major. Grades, class standing, ACT scores, letters of recommendation, and financial need considered. Must declare a second major in an approved field with a Middle East studies component. Preference given to permanent Arkansas residents.

NOTIFICATION:

May 1. Application deadline: March 15.

AMOUNT

Full scholarship, $11,600.
Partial Scholarship: $6,000

ALSO OFFERED:

Competitive funding for language study in Morocco at Al-Akhwayn International University, in Tunisia at the Institut Bourguiba pour les Langues Vivantes, and in Egypt at American University in Cairo. Funding for summer study projects considered on a case-by-case basis.
