As one of three Assistant Directors in the office, Daniel leads a team of advisors in providing the advising lab in the third floor lobby of Champions Hall. In addition to the advising lab, Daniel primarily advises History and Anthropology majors.
Daniel joined the Fulbright Advising Center in January 2013 as a Graduate Assistant, and started his full-time position in January 2014. As a 2014 graduate of the U of A’s Master’s in Higher Education program, Daniel knows the importance of working with students to accomplish their goals—whether the goal is graduation or simply discovering on-campus resources.
A 2011 graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University, Daniel led his peers in Student Government Association while completing his BA in Anthropology.
Daniel married the love of his life, Leah, in 2010, and is the proud father of Lillian Ruth Jordan, born in October 2016. Our little family enjoys spending time at Gulley Park and eating our way around the country.
Daniel’s ultimate goal in life is for students to remember this positive, self-affirming mantra: “You’re smart! You’re prepared! You’re gonna do great!”
