Sarah E. Simers joined the Fulbright College Advising Center in March 2012 as an academic counselor. She came to the center having taught and tutored entry-level American history courses for over 2 years at the University of Arkansas.
An Honors College graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, Sarah received her BA in history, with double minors in writing and rhetoric, and interdisciplinary studies in 2006. She completed her MA in history at the University of Arkansas in 2008, and has since published articles in the Encyclopedia of Arkansas and the Pulaski County Historical Review.
When not advising, Sarah spends time with her cat, driving her dog around NWA, eating on patios with loved ones, running, float trips, and yoga.
