Meet Lil' Fulbright and Help Showcase Our College in a Fun, Unexpected Way

If you follow Fulbright College on social media, then you may have already met Lil’ Fulbright – our portable, miniature Fulbright statue whose goal is to see the world and get students, alumni, faculty, staff and administrators pumped up about being part of the Fulbright College family.

If you haven’t seen him yet, here’s a sample of him in action:

#LilFulbright knows Dean Shields is working hard and has him and the college covered ... time to head out soon!

It’s time for Lil’ Fulbright to widen his horizons!

And you can have your very own DIY paper version of Lil’ Fulbright.

Feel free to share one with others connected to Fulbright College as well – particularly those traveling, studying, serving or researching abroad.

Then, snap pics as you take him on adventures and be sure to tag them with #LilFulbright and @UAFulbright so we see them, too. We’ll re-share the best ones on our social media channels. Here’s an example of what that could look like:

Lil' Fulbright studied hard!

Or, if you’re having trouble posting while you’re traveling – feel free to email them to instead and we’ll post them on your behalf. Just be sure to let us know where you and Lil’ Fulbright are in the photos.

Our hope is that this will instill more Fulbright College pride in students, alumni, faculty, staff and administrators while raising greater national and international awareness about our college. We also hope this project helps our students share their stories in a fun and unexpected way.

We can’t wait to see and share your adventures!
