Fulbright Advising Center
In January 2019, Leah celebrated her two year anniversary working in Fulbright College Advising Center. As a senior academic advisor, she primarily serves sophomore through senior undergraduate students studying the biological sciences, psychological sciences, chemistry and biochemistry, and communication. Leah changed majors multiple times during undergrad, and career paths several times after. Her journey in various academic and professional pursuits allowed her to deeply appreciate the value of a liberal arts education, and her experiences fuel her desire to help her students determine their individualized interests and goals.
Her favorite work responsibilities involve listening to acoustic guitar while responding to emails and updating spreadsheets, eating lunch with her amazing and hilarious co-workers, deciphering the intricacies of the Degree Audit, and of course, chatting with her students who are all truly inspirational. Outside of work, you can find her exploring the restaurants of NWA, going for walks, color-coding her planner, taking naps, playing games, reading historical fiction, binge-watching anything, and generally enjoying the company of her husband, toddler, and two dogs.
