Fiscal & Administrative Office
Welcome to Fulbright College Fiscal Operations. Housed within the Office of Finance and Administration, we work closely with over 60 departments, centers, and programs and provide expert financial and business services. We also work in partnership with University Financial Affairs and Business Affairs administrations. We are committed to the mission, vision and goals of Fulbright College. Fulbright Fiscal Operations is comprised of two areas, each under the leadership of a director: Academic Operations, and Budget and Planning.
Senior Director of Fiscal Operations
The Senior Director works closely with the Assistant Dean of Finance and Administration and other members of the executive team to review, evaluate, and improve the fiscal operations budgetary processes. Responsibilities of the position include financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. The Senior Director prepares regular and ad hoc reports of budget versus actual expenses and provides reporting, tracking, and assessment of annual operating budget processes; identifies funding sources. The Senior Director ensures that all financial transactions are processed accurately and promptly. The areas of responsibility of the Senior Director include fiscal operations, academic administrative and interdisciplinary program support, grant and foundation accounting, and business operations.
Director of Business Services
The Director of Business Services serves as Fulbright College’s primary contact for monthly non-research/non-gift cost center financial statements and oversees procurement, p-card, and travel processes for the College. Responsibilities include: manage procurement, p-card, and travel for the College; audit non-grant/non-gift cost centers monthly to eliminate year-end deficits; provide monthly financial statements to Department Chairs and Administrators on all non-research/non-gift accounts; manage year-end close for all non-research/non-gift cost centers; serve as College liaison with Business Affairs.
Assistant Director of Grant and Endowment Administration
The Assistant Director of Grant and Endowment Administration is primarily responsible for managing research and endowment funding for the College. Responsibilities include: monitor expenditures on grant cost centers for allowability based on available grant funding, sponsor policy and University policy; review and approve all transactions on RIF, start-up, endowment, and foundation cost centers; provide monthly financial statements to Department Chairs and Administrators on all RIF, start-up, and foundation cost centers/accounts; provide monthly financial statements to Endowed Chairs and Professors; run periodic financial summaries and analysis for faculty PIs as requested; assist Associate Dean with all aspects of MIPAR administration; and audit summer salary savings from grants.
Business and Program Coordinator
The Program Coordinator supports interdisciplinary programs with payroll, budgeting, reporting, purchasing, travel, and course offering entries. Provides interdisciplinary program Blackboard and classroom scheduling support. Assists with program funding and account reconciliation. Serves as central contact for procurement and travel. Provides support and training to the department administrators in travel and procurement processes. Works closely with the associate deans to facilitate ADHE program reviews.
Fiscal Support Analyst
The Fiscal Support Analyst is responsible for all administration tasks related to grant, foundation, and endowment accounts. Responsibilities include: processes payroll distributions; processes foundation Payment Authorization forms, manages start-up and RIF cost centers; and runs financial reports for cost centers and accounts.
Budget and Planning Coordinator
The Budget and Planning Coordinator is primarily responsible for the administration of College workloads and assisting The Director of Budget and Planning with training and transactional tasks. Responsibilities include: assist with budget cycle entries, track College commitments, manage tuition waivers, review/complete college workloads (Global Campus, Summer Teaching and Intersession); research pending issues related to positions and budget; and process payroll distributions.

Director of Budget and Planning
The Director of Budget and Planning is responsible for all budget operations, including position management, budget plan and load, budget control and monitoring, and other operational duties. Responsibilities include: maintain the College's multi-year budget plan; manage positions and their associated budget; review and approve all appointed payroll transactions for the College; manage College commitments; oversee GA appointments and distributions; oversee allocation of GA tuition waivers; manage College workloads (Global Campus, Summer Teaching and Intersession); review and approve hiring requests for the College; and audit payroll distributions for accuracy.
