The vision of Fulbright HR (FHR) is to become the premier HR and Diversity unit in the state of Arkansas. FHR will provide leadership and service consistent with that which is expected of the state’s largest Arts and Sciences College at the flagship institution.

Assistant Dean of Human Resources, Diversity, and Faculty Services
The Assistant Dean of Human Resources, Diversity, and Faculty Services is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the strategic direction of the university and college, specifically in the areas of talent management, performance management, training and development, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, community relations, and change management. This position will have responsibility for and oversight of the human resources office, which manages the faculty and staff hiring processes, the faculty promotion, tenure, and evaluation process, faculty awards and recognition, selected special events, facilities scheduling, the college calendar and schedule, and general Dean’s Office administrative and operations support.
Assistant Director of Faculty Services
The assistant to the dean for administration oversees the promotion and tenure procedures for Fulbright College; coordinates the faculty awards processes; compiles, prepares and collects various college and department reports; maintains college working schedule as well as faculty and department files and serves as a resource for staff and faculty.
Assistant Director of Human Resources
The Assistant Director of Human Resources manages the recruitment process for the college in accordance with all applicable University and State of Arkansas guidelines and procedures. This position serves as the subject matter expert on university human resources policies, and works with department hiring managers to use recruitment best practices for maximum effectiveness.
Administrative Specialist II
The administrative specialist II acts as first person contact in Dean’s Office; maintains the calendar for Associate Dean for Research, manages leave and hourly payroll for Fulbright College personnel; reviews, revises, and distributes foundation requests; provides clerical assistance for associate deans and assistant to the dean; performs data entry and tracking; and obtains signatures for various forms. This position keeps the calendar for Giffels Auditorium and schedules meetings for conference room 523 in Old Main. The administrative specialist II also coordinates special events for Fulbright College and for the associate deans.
