Dr. Jennings graduated from Hendrix College with a B.A. in Biology. He earned an M.S. in Biology from the University of Arkansas and his Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. His doctoral thesis is entitled, “Barriers evolving: Reproductive isolation and the early stages of biological speciation”. Dr. Jennings has taught several courses in the Department of Biological Sciences, including General Genetics, Evolutionary Biology, and labs in Cell Biology, Genetics and Principles of Biology. He has been advising premedical students at the University of Arkansas since 2013.
