Margaret Miller Butcher holds an undergraduate degree in Radio/TV/Film and a graduate degree in Mass Communication from Arkansas State University and a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She has worked in distance and online education for more than a decade and comes to the University of Arkansas as part of the Arkansas Online inititive and the development of courses for the now available online major in Communication. She is a certified QM Developer of online courses.
