Lora Walsh received a PhD in Religious Studies from Northwestern University, with a concentration in Medieval Christianity. Her doctoral research focused on the figure of Ecclesia, or Lady Holy Church, and the significance of Ecclesia's gender to ecclesiastical reformers in late medieval and early modern England. The current version of this project is titled "Reclaiming Ecclesia: Feminist Theology and the Feminine Church." Dr. Walsh has taught courses on Medieval History, Women and Christianity, History of Christianity, Christianity and Money, and Christian Perceptions of Sudden Healing (for the Feinberg School of Medicine). She has also taught Classical and Medieval Latin.
