Dr. Hehr's research interests are in the areas of meteorology and climatology and in particular severe storm occurrence over the central interior of the United States. Other interests include paeleoclimatology and global change. From 1988 to 2010 he was Associate Dean of the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences.
