Our undergraduate degree program has four courses of study:

Journalism Concentration
Learn how to identify, report, and write the news. Other special subjects include sports journalism, photojournalism, and digital writing.
Broadcast Concentration
Train to enter the professional news and production world as tomorrow's producers, reporters, videographers, anchors and directors.
Advertising and Public Relations Major
Learn to create and plan advertising and public relations campaigns, analyze media audiences and their interests, and more!
Multimedia Storytelling & Production Concentration
Learn the latest in multimedia content production, social media and digital delivery across multiple platforms.

Admissions

In four easy steps, you can become a Razorback and Journalism major at the School of Journalism and Strategic Media.


Degree Requirements

Journalism majors are expected to meet degree requirements mandated from the University and Fulbright College, as well as the School of Journalism and Strategic Media.

Journalism Minor

As one of the most versatile subjects on campus, journalism can add valuable skills to resumes/CVs that transfer well into many industries. The journalism minor is a major asset to obtain!


Honors Program

Honors candidates carry out independent study and research under the guidance of the journalism faculty and participate in honors classes in journalism and at least one other discipline.


Study Abroad
