Mathematics Resource and Teaching Center
The mission of the Mathematics Resource and Teaching Center (MRTC) is to provide students with the resources to flourish in their mathematics courses at the University of Arkansas. At the Teaching Center mathematics instructors and graduate assistants are available at all times to help students with their studies. The MRTC also maintains the Mathematics Testing Center, where we administer computerized tests for many of our classes.
Normal Fall 2017 Hours
Teaching Center (CHPN 326): M – Th 9:00 am – 8:00 pm; F 9:00 am – 4:00 pm; Sa CLOSED; Su 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Testing Center (CHPN 327): M – Th 9:00 am – 7:30 pm; F 9:00 am – 3:30 pm; Sa CLOSED; Su 2:00 pm – 5:30 pm*
*Please note: Most computerized tests administered at the Testing Center are set to automatically end and submit at closing time. The proctors will not be able to extend your exam if you run out of time! When you take a test at the MRTC, be sure to arrive with enough time to complete your exam. Testing Center doors will close for incoming students 45 minutes before closing time.
MRTC Testing Center Hours for Final Exam Week
Sunday, Dec. 10 - Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017. MRTC is not opened on Friday, Dec. 15, 2017.
The MRTC Testing Center Hours:
Su, Dec. 10, 2017: Noon to 6 pm. Doors close at 4:45 pm and all tests must end at 5:30 pm.
M - Th, Dec. 11 - 14, 2017: 9 am to 7:30 pm. Doors close at 6:45 pm and all tests must end at 7:30 pm.
F, Dec. 15, 2017: MRTC TESTING CENTER WILL BE CLOSED. No Testing in the MRTC Testing Center.
The MRTC is located in Champions Hall (CHPN, 811 W Dickson St). Find the Teaching
Center in CHPN 326, and the Testing Center in CHPN 327.

The MRTC is always closed Dead Day, December 23 and the Sunday before Martin Luther King Day, Super Bowl Sunday, Easter, the Sundays before and after Spring Break, the Sunday before Labor Day, the Sunday before Fall Break, and the Sunday after Thanksgiving and Sundays during summer sessions and intersessions.
