What is the Razorback Band Alumni Society?
Founded in 2005 by alumni and friends of the Razorback Band, the society is a chartered organization of the Arkansas Alumni Association.
The society operates under the guidelines of a constitution and bylaws approved by the Arkansas Alumni Association. The society's mission is to promote communication, friendship and professional development among Razorback Band Alumni, University of Arkansas faculty and friends of the University by providing a forum for information exchange through organized and other activities.
The Razorback Band Alumni Society's purpose shall be:
- To foster communication among alumni and present band students, faculty and friends through events and other activities
- To perpetuate and foster friendship and goodwill among its members
- To promote activities that would help recognize the history, contributions, and achievements of the Razorback Band and its members
- To act as a conduit for the interchange of dialogue between alumni of the Razorback Band, present band students, faculty and friends and the U of A
- To foster the development and maintenance of current and future scholarships and other means for assisting band students in their education at the U of A
Membership Eligibility
You are eligible to join the Razorback Band Alumni Society if you are:
- A graduate of the U of A
- A friend of the University
- A faculty/staff member

Membership in the Razorback Band Alumni Society is automatic when you activate your membership in the Arkansas Alumni Association.
Membership Opportunities and Benefits
Membership in the Razorback Band Alumni Society provides you with opportunities to:
- Be part of an active organization supporting the U of A and band students
- Meet and socialize with band alumni who attended the University
- Receive special communications from the Razorback Band Alumni Society, including the Razorback Band Alumni Newsletter.
- Assist in recruiting students for the U of A
- Sponsor programs that enhance the relationship between the University and band alumni
