Robert Hopper is the Associate Director of Band Finance, Marketing, and Operations for the University of Arkansas Bands Program. He oversees the administration of the scholarship program for the Department of Music. He also supports the program through outreach, recruitment and donor stewardship. Robert acts as the program’s liaison to band alumni with communications through the Arkansas Alumni Association and the Razorback Band Alumni Society. He is also the Co-Director of the Music Living and Learning Community.
Robert graduated summa cum laude from the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences with a Bachelor of Science in Human Environmental Sciences. During his undergraduate studies, he was a member of the Razorback Marching Band for five years. He served as assistant drum major for two years and head drum major for two years. Robert participated in the program’s concert bands and also traveled with the Hogwild Band to the SEC and NCAA men’s basketball tournaments.
Additionally, Robert earned a JD from the University of Arkansas School of Law and has been admitted to the Arkansas Bar. Before joining the program, Robert worked for Walmart Stores, Inc. in the Health and Wellness Division.
