Boston Mountain Brassworks

Boston Mountain Brassworks is the faculty brass quintet of the University of Arkansas. The group was formed in the fall of 2003 to serve as a performing outlet for the faculty and as a model for student groups. The namesake Boston Mountains is a scenic Ozark mountain range in the area of Fayetteville, Arkansas.

BMB performs each semester in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall at the University of Arkansas Fine Arts Center. In addition, the quintet performs concerts and master classes throughout the region. Tours are undertaken annually. Concert programs include repertoire from Renaissance brass to contemporary brass quintet compositions and jazz.

Please contact a member of BMB if you are interested in having them perform at your school.
