William D. Schreckhise

William D. Schreckhise (B.A., Washington State University, 1991; M.A., Washington State University, 1994; Ph.D., Washington State University, 1999) is an associate professor and the Director of Legal Studies. He teaches and researches in the areas of public policy, constitutional law, administrative law, and public administration.
He has published articles in Social Science Quarterly, Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, Interest Groups and Advocacy, State and Local Government Review, Urban Affairs Review, Youth and Society, Business and Politics, American Review of Politics, Public Integrity, Journal of Knowledge Economy, Forum: A Journal of Applied Research in Contemporary Politics, Public Administration Quarterly, International Journal of Public Administration, and Midsouth Political Science Review, Justice System Journal, along with several chapters in edited volumes. He is currently writing a book titled American Democracy: An Assessment which examines the ability of the U.S. political system to make good public policy.
