Advising

Undergraduate advisors are available to help you plan your program of study and give you advice about careers in psychology.

Within the department, you can schedule an appointment with the Director of Undergraduate Studies, Jeremy Holm.  Email him at jholm@uark.edu to set up an appointment.

You can also visit the Fulbright Advising Center at Rm 132 in the Student Success Center.  Their website has information on scheduling an  appointment, and also has a lot of information on commonly asked questions.

Important Registration Information: Do you want an override  into a psychology course?  We know that our courses tend to fill up quickly, and that this can be frustrating for our students.  Do not email the instructor requesting an override into any classes except PSYC 207V and PSYC 399VH (research laboratory courses).

****Specific to Registration for Spring 2024****The policies described in this document were emailed to all psychology majors and minors and are posted here for your convienence.  Please read them thoroughly, as there are different procedures for enrolling in (a) research credits (207V and 399H), (b) "Core" courses such as Research Literacy (Minors Only), Statistics, Research Methods, Advanced Research/Seminar, and (c) all other Psychological Science courses.
