Professor House received her bachelor’s degree in social from the University of Arkansas and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock. Professor House joined the School of Social faculty in 1993 and assumed her current position as MSW program director in 2009. She has taught extensively across the undergraduate and graduate curricula, with particular emphasis on social work with groups and diversity in social work practice. Her responsibilities include graduate student advising and management of all aspects of the graduate program, including admissions. Her prior practice experience includes both clinical and administrative positions, among these are community mental health inpatient and outpatient services, crisis counseling, program director for day services for adults with dementia, and co-director of rape crisis center services.
