Title IV-E Staff
Amy Helms received her BA in Social Work from the University of Arkansas in 2007, and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas in 2010.
Amy joined the School of Social Work in 2012 as a Research Assistant and Field Trainer in the Arkansas Academic Partnership in Public Child Welfare. The focus of the Partnership is on education and training of prospective and current child welfare workers. Additionally, Amy has taught the “21st Century Perspectives in Child Welfare” elective for the Partnership and School of Social Work. Her social work practice background includes direct services in child welfare cases, mental health therapist for adolescents in a school-based setting, member of Clinical Quality team in community mental health center.
