Tickets & Pricing
Tickets and the Season Package are both available for purchase here on our website or by calling the Centralized Box Office at (479) 575-5387. Box Office hours are generally 9am - 12pm, Monday through Friday. These hours may be reduced during the summer due to decreased staff. If your call is not answered directly, please leave a message and we will return it as soon as possible.
We do offer special pricing for schools and large groups. If you are interested in bringing a group of 10 or more to a Department of Theatre production, please contact the Centralized Box Office at tickets@uark.edu or (479) 575-5387.
Pricing for both University theatre and UA Black Box theatre shows are the same. Tickets are available online or by calling the Box Office Manager at (479) 575-4752.

Department of Theatre Season Package
$90 for Adult
$68 for Seniors* and UA Faculty/Staff
$23 for Students**
*Senior Pricing is available to anyone over the age of 55.
**Student Pricing is available to anyone under the age of 18, as well as UA students and students of other area colleges and universities with a valid student ID. Additionally, UA students receive free admission to any performances.
Venue Information
University theatre
The University Theatre is a 315-seat proscenium stage theatre, housing fully equipped scenery, and costume construction facilities and up-to-date lighting, sound and rigging systems.
It is located in the Fine Arts Center on the University of Arkansas central campus. The address is 340 N Garland Avenue Fayetteville AR 72701.
The most convenient parking for visitors to the University Theatre is the Stadium Drive parking garage. Visitors can take the elevator or stairs to Level 4, which is the Razorback Transit bus station. The Fine Arts Center is located directly across the street from the front doors of the bus station. Direct drop off is available for patrons who require it, at the Fine Arts Center lot off of Dickson Street. Call (479) 575-5387 for drop off directions.
Parking in the Stadium Drive parking garage is free after 8pm and on weekends. Prior
to 8pm on weekdays, visitors will need to park in numbered parking spaces and pay
at the booths near the elevators. Parking is $2.15 per hour and can be paid by coins
or credit/debit card. The machines do not give change. There is also a new option
to use your cell phone to pay for parking. Go to www.flowbirdapp.com for more information about the cell phone option.
Note: You will need your license plate number in order to pay for parking.
Please careful to observe all signs about parking restrictions. The Department of Theatre is not responsible for parking citations received while attending performances at the University Theatre.
From the North
From I-49 N take exit 66 for AR-112/Garland Ave. Turn right/south onto AR-112/Garland
Ave. Continue south on AR-112/Garland Ave for approximately 10.5 miles, then turn
right/west onto W Maple St. Turn left at the next traffic light, onto Stadium Dr.
The Stadium Drive parking garage will be on your left at the bottom of the hill, across
from the football stadium.
From the South
From I-49 northbound, take Hwy 62/Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd east for 1 mile. Turn
left/north onto Razorback Rd (traffic light and a sign for the University of Arkansas
on the corner). From Razorback Rd, turn right/east onto Meadow St, then turn left/north
onto Stadium Dr when Meadow St dead-ends. The Stadium Drive parking garage will be
on your right across from the football stadium.
From the Stadium Parking Garage, take the elevator to the 4th floor and exit out into
the bus station.
The Fine Arts Center is directly across the street. Follow the covered walkway to enter the lobby of the theatre.
UA Black Box theatre
The UA Black Box Theatre is a 181-seat flexible black box space, located on the Downtown Fayetteville Square. This theatre features state of the art sound, lighting and production systems.
It is located in the Global Campus Building on the Fayetteville square. The address is 2 E Center Street, Fayetteville AR 72701.
Parking is available on and around the square, or in the two public parking garages (located behind the Fayetteville Town Center and next to the Graduate Hotel).
Please be sure to observe all signs about parking restrictions in the downtown area. The Department of Theatre is not responsible for parking citations received while attending performances at the UA Black Box Theatre.
From the North
Follow I-49 S/US-71 S to US-71 BUS S/N College Ave in Fayetteville. Take the US-71 BUS S exit from Fulbright Expressway. Continue southbound on 71B/North College Ave for 3.7miles, then turn right/west onto E Center Street (traffic
light). The Global Campus building is on the right/north side of the street at the intersection
E Center St and N East Ave.
From the South
From I-49 N/US-71 N, take exit for Hwy 62/Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and proceed
east for 1.7 miles. Turn north/left on 71B/South School Ave (traffic light). From
71B/S School Ave, drive 0.6 miles, then turn left/west onto E Center St. The Global
Campus building is on the right/north side of the street at the intersection E Center
St and N East Ave.
After you locate parking, make your way to the northeast side of the Fayetteville
Square. The UA Black Box Theatre is located in the University of Arkansas Global Campus
building, which is located at the intersection of E Center St and N East Ave.
Once you enter the Global Campus Building, the theatre lobby will be located on your right.
Policies & Procedures
The Department of Theatre strives to make sure that every patron has the best possible experience when they attend one of our productions. Therefore, we have the following policies. If you have any questions on a policy, please contact our box office at (479) 575-5387 or tickets@uark.edu.
Spaces for wheelchairs are available at both the University theatre and the UA Black Box theatre. Additionally, the University theatre also has wheelchair transfer seats available.
To ensure that your needs are accommodated to the fullest possible extent, please contact the Box Office directly to purchase tickets for ADA seating.
If the University of Arkansas is closed due to inclement weather, all performances for that date will automatically be canceled. Performances may also be cancelled at the discretion of the department chair if the university is not in session. If a performance is canceled for any reason, we will post the information on both our website and Facebook page, and do our best to otherwise contact affected patrons by email. If you believe a performance might be canceled, we urge you to call the Box Office to verify before heading to the venue.
Tickets for cancelled performances will be exchanged for another University Theatre performance of your choice, pending availability. If you are unable to make another performance or use the credit for a future production, please contact the Box Office to request a refund.
Note: Box office clerks are unable to give a direct refund for ANY REASON, including cancellations. All refund requests must be made directly to the Ash Micheel, amicheel@uark.edu.
Latecomers will be admitted at the discretion of the management, with regard to available seating and the integrity of the performance. Late seating may not be available for all productions or all performances.
Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to curtain to ensure you are able to see the performance. If late seating is not available, the Box Office staff will be happy to exchange your ticket for a future performance, pending availability.
Season tickets and tickets purchased by credit card may be reprinted at the Box Office. We are unable to reprint tickets paid for with Cash or Check unless name and phone number were given at time of purchase.
Please bring your photo ID with you when requesting a reprint.
Any use of cell phones, tablets, or other mobile devices (including texting) is prohibited once the performance begins. Using a cell phone during a performance may result in the user being asked to leave the theatre without a refund or exchange.
Repeat offenders may be banned from Department of Theatre productions. This includes students enrolled in classes where attendace is required.
Recordings (video or audio) or taking photos of any Department of Theatre production is strictly prohibited by law. Violation of this rule during a performance may result in the audience mamber being asked to leave the theatre without a refund or exchange.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
The Department of Theatre does not refund monies for any reason, except in cases of incorrect charges or cancelled performance. Unused tickets may be exchanged for any other Department of Theatre production of equal or lesser value. No change will be given.
Please email tickets@uark.edu or call 479-575-5387 if you need to make an exchange. If you need to report an incorrect charge to your credit card or request a direct refund for a cancelled performance, please contact the Box Office.
In the event of a sold out show, the box office will create a waiting list for unclaimed tickets. You must be in the lobby in person to be added to the waiting list.
Will Call tickets that are not claimed may be redistributed 10 minutes before curtain, at the discretion of the Box Office staff. All other unclaimed seats will be given out at 5 minutes to curtain.
If you have purchased a ticket and are running late, please call the box office at 479-575-5387 to avoid having your seat given away. We will do our very best to accommodate you, assuming late seating is available for the production in question.
