Russian language is offered from the elementary (RUSS 1003) through advanced levels (RUSS 3003). If you wish to pursue language learning beyond the fifth semester, you can either do a Study Abroad in Russia, or discuss the option of independent studies or an advanced course with the head of the program.

 

SPRING 2019

ELEMENTARY RUSSIAN I: RUSS 1003. This is the first semester of Russian. No prerequisites. 3 credits. MWF 10:45 -11:35.

ELEMENTARY RUSSIAN II: RUSS 1013. This is the second semester of Russian. Prerequisite is RUSS 1003. 3 credits. MWF 9:40 -10:30.

INTERMEDIATE RUSSIAN II: RUSS 2013. This is the fourth semester of Russian. Prerequisites are RUSS 1003, 1013, and 2003. 3 credits. MWF 2 - 2:50.

 “RUSSIA’S RACES: FROM PUSHKIN TO PELEVIN.” RUSS 4133. In English, no prerequisites. Tu and Th 3:30 – 4:45.

 

 FALL 2019

ELEMENTARY RUSSIAN I-001: RUSS 1003. This is the first semester of Russian. No prerequisites.

3 credits. MWF 9:40 -10:30.

ELEMENTARY RUSSIAN I-002: RUSS 1003. This is the first semester of Russian. No prerequisites.

3 credits. MWF 10:45 -11:35.

INTERMEDIATE RUSSIAN I: RUSS 2003. This is the third semester of Russian. Prerequisites are RUSS 1003 and RUSS 1013. 3 credits. MWF 2 -2:50.

ADVANCED RUSSIAN: RUSS 3003. This is the fifth semester of Russian. Prerequisites are RUSS 1003, 1013, 2003, and 2013. 3 credits. MWF 3 -3:55.

RUSSIAN LITERATURE SURVEY COURSE: RUSS 4133. In English, no prerequisites.
