Principles of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Upcoming classes: March 2, April 6, and May 11.
This interactive training is designed to foster a foundational understanding, clarity,
reflection, and discussion about the concepts of diversity, equity, and inclusion
(DEI). Participants will be invited to collaborate in learning by sharing experiences,
questions, and perspectives related to DEI in a thoughtfully facilitated environment.
Participants will leave with increased awareness to help guide further reflection,
conversation, and action to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Equity 101: Building Understanding / Engaging in Action
The next class is on March 3.
This interactive training is designed to foster a foundational understanding, clarity, reflection, and discussion about equity, through engagement in large and small group discussions. Participants will be invited to collaborate in learning by sharing experiences, questions and perspectives related to equity in a thoughtfully facilitated environment. Participants will leave with increased awareness to help guide further reflection, conversation, and action to create more equitable practices.
Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity: Building Understanding / Creating Allies
The next class is on April 6.
This interactive training is designed to foster understanding, clarity, reflection and discussion about sexual orientation and gender identity, through engagement in large and small group discussions. Participants will be invited to collaborate in learning by sharing experiences, questions and perspectives related to sexual orientation and gender identity in a thoughtfully facilitated environment. Participants will leave with increased awareness to help guide further reflection, conversation, and action to support LGBTQ family, friends and colleagues.

in large and small group discussions. Participants will be invited to collaborate
in learning by sharing experiences, questions and perspectives related to implicit
bias in a thoughtfully facilitated environment. Participants will leave with increased
awareness to help guide further reflection, conversation, and action to counter implicit
bias.
