Inclusive Initiatives
Fulbright College is committed to initiatives that benefit everyone in our college. We believe our IE Framework highlights some of our commitments in action. Our Inclusive Excellence College Council, Dean’s Office Committee for Inclusive Excellence, and Inclusive Excellence College Goals provide infrastructure to realize our commitments.
Inclusive Excellence College Council
Members serve as college representatives identifying, recommending, supporting, and advising the Dean of Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences and the Dean’s leadership team on how to make academic and research excellence inclusive for all in Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences. The council reviews opportunities and challenges around access and equal opportunity for education, research, and student success.
Dean’s Office Committee for Inclusive Excellence
The committee is made up of a representative from each department and office in the dean’s office. The mission of the Dean’s Office Committee for Inclusive Excellence is to support access, equity, and belonging through education and service.
Inclusive Excellence College Goals
These goals were crafted based on 1,088 faculty, staff, and student responses from a college-wide survey of inclusive excellence priorities. These goals are designed to make Fulbright College a place where teaching, learning, transformative experiences, service, creative endeavors, and research thrive because everyone experiences equity and a sense of belonging.
