Fulbright Finance and Operations Unit is dedicated to supporting the teaching and research missions of Fulbright College by providing outstanding financial and information technology services to the College community; by providing support, guidance and consultation; by working to ensure compliance with University and federal guidelines; by mitigating risk; and by promoting the financial health of the College.   We commit to steward the College’s assets efficiently, such that resources are assured for current and future generations of faculty, staff and students.

Fulbright Finance and Operations, led by the Senior Assistant Dean of Finance and Operations, is responsible for administrative oversight of the 17 core areas.

Budget and Planning Office

We work closely with over 60 departments, centers, and programs and provide expert payroll, budgeting, and financial planning services.  We also work in partnership with University Financial Affairs and Payroll administrations.  We are committed to the mission, vision and goals of Fulbright College.  

Training and Support


Financial Administration Office

We serve as the primary resource for the College community in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, financial reporting, internal controls, and analysis and reporting on the College’s financial position and results. We also work in partnership with University Financial Affairs. We are committed to the mission, vision and goals of Fulbright College.


Grant and Gift Administration Office

Our office assists faculty and staff in Fulbright College who apply for and receive internal and external funding. We oversee budgets from the Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP), coordinate matching funds and cost-sharing for grant proposals, provide oversight of regulatory fiscal compliance, and compile resources for principal investigators (PIs). We support research-related activities including the management of startup funding for new faculty, Research Incentive Funding (RIF), and Service Center and Program Income Management. We work closely with academic departments for all activities related to endowment and gift accounting including review and evaluation of endowment and gift agreements, endowment spending analytics, and compliance. We assist Endowed Chairs in projecting spending and distribution of income and monitor endowment accounts for compliance with donor stipulations and Foundation policies governing spending and reinvestment levels. We provide training to faculty and staff in the areas of research and gift management and compliance and other related areas.


Business Operations Office

We work closely with over 60 departments, centers, and programs and provide expert business services. We are here to serve over 40 programs in business and administration needs. We also work in partnership with University Business Affairs administrations. We are committed to the mission, vision and goals of Fulbright College.

Data Analytics and Insights Office

The job responsibilities of a data analytics and business insights team typically involve collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide valuable insights and support strategic decision-making withing our College. Overall, the primary objective of a data analytics and business insights team is to leverage data- driven insights to drive strategic decisions, identify opportunities for improvement, and help the College to achieve business objectives.


Business Intelligence and Optimization Office

Our office serves as a critical bridge across various functions and spearheading efforts to make the organization more efficient.  Our roles and responsibilities generally revolve around leveraging data and analytics to improve decision-making, streamline processes, and enhance overall organizational performance.  We play a crucial role in helping the College make informed decisions and help to improve efficiency in the rapidly evolving business landscape.
